Brisbane InDesign User Group

Meeting Notes Archive

11 December, 2007

In our new premises at Design College Australia, The Brisbane InDesign User Group bid a fond farewell to 2007. We were few but made plenty of noise in playing “Who wants to be a millionaire,” InDesign Style. A huge thanks goes to Eliot Harper for coming up from the Sydney chapter to be Master of Ceremonies for us.

John Reid managed to answer correctly the hard fastest finger question to be the first up at taking on the questions. He was able to get up to question 10 out of the 15 before the questions finally stumped him, and all the lifelines were used up. Next up was Heather Rathus, who answered up to question 13 in the next round, but due to a controversial decision earlier in the evening, Iain Anderson was given the choice to finish off the final 2 questions to win the big prize. Though there were many covert hand signals and weird coughing fits from the audience, Iain answered the final question with confidence and no help from others. All three contestants went home with many prizes donated from Adobe, Aquent, Peachpit Press, and Terry Rydberg.
