Event Details
Michael Barnard will share his knowledge of how to get the best results on paper from InDesign. Michael will demonstrate the best practice workflows, so you can use all of InDesign’s features without fear that it won’t output correctly. You'll learn how to create and manage your design projects for transit while maintaining full control over the output.
Topics will include:
• Fonts
• Colour Spaces
• Bleeds
• Resolution (DPI/PPI/LPI)
• Transparency
• How to not to annoy your printer
Aside from the all the pitfalls of print and how to avoid them, Michael will also discuss some of the advantages of digital printing and how with the latest digital offset presses you can achieve high-quality print in short runs, but also the unique advantage of variable data printing, opening the door to personalisation and versioning.
