May 1, 2007

An impressive crowd of 100 eager InDesign enthusiasts filled MassArt’s auditorium to celebrate the recent release of Adobe Creative Suite 3. We ran out of pizza within 15 minutes of its delivery. Without keeping our attendees in suspense any longer, Noha Edell from Adobe didn’t miss a beat. She hit the ground running, wowing the audience with the new features of CS3, the live-color feature in Illustrator, expanded capabilities of Photoshop, enhanced Adobe Bridge (which is also faster now), and Device Central. Noha then went on to showcase many of the new InDesign CS3 features including enhanced transparency support, Photoshop effects, multi-file place, table and cell styles, placing InDesign documents, advanced Find/Change support, and much more.

The evening concluded with a huge raffle. Huge thanks to our three major sponsors: MassArt for providing a great venue, Adobe Press for the wonderful books and Adobe for the two copies of InDesign CS3.
