Amsterdam InDesign User Group

SEATING IS LIMITED TO 75 PEOPLE, SO REGISTER FAST! Join us in celebrating our one year anniversary! We are meeting at Adobe headquarters in Amsterdam. Both the InDesign User Group and the Acrobat User Group are working together to make this meeting possible. In this meeting, you'll learn how to design and distribute interactive PDF forms. Many companies these days are providing interactive PDF forms that can be filled out on a computer and electronically submitted through email, the internet, or even a local network. By replacing paper forms with interactive PDF forms, companies are saving money, improving their customer service, and they are increasing their competitive advantage. Since electronic forms are becoming more commonly used, it's now more important than ever to know how to create and distribute them as quickly and efficiently as possible. Gabriel Powell (IDUG Chapter Leader) will be our first speaker. He's going to explain how to design a form in Adobe InDesign, export that form as a static PDF file, and then use Adobe Acrobat Pro to automatically convert it into an interactive form. Along the way, he'll be sharing a number of tips than can make the form creation process easier. During the break, we'll be serving champaign to celebrate our one year anniversary. This is also a great opportunity to meet other InDesign enthusiasts and ask the experts questions. After the break, Yuri van Doesum (AUG Chapter Leader) will explain different methods for distributing a form and collecting responses. He'll show you how to send a form as an email attachment and manually collect the responses in your email inbox and he'll also show you how to use Acrobat.com to distribute a form and automatically download and organize the responses.
